Leadership That Listens. Progress With Purpose.Palm Coast is growing quickly, and the choices we make now will shape our future for decades to come. I’m running for City Council because I want to make sure that growth protects our quality of life, strengthens our neighborhoods, and keeps residents — not developers — at the center of every decision.I love this community. I want seniors to feel supported, families to feel secure, young people to feel hopeful, and every resident to feel seen, heard, and valued.
I’m running for City Council because I believe Palm Coast deserves leadership that listens and decisions grounded in purpose. I want to restore trust, improve transparency, and make sure our city grows in a way that strengthens — not strains — the people who call this place home.Explore my platform by accessing the links below.

My name is Dylana Justine Galery, and I’m running for Palm Coast City Council because I believe in building a stronger, more connected community, together.I’m a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Political Science and discovered my passion for civic engagement and public service. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to leadership roles that require organization, teamwork, and accountability, the same qualities I’ll bring to City Hall.In 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Democratic National Convention, where I saw firsthand how collaboration and grassroots energy can shape our democracy. I’ve also visited every U.S. presidential museum except one( Nixon’s) because I believe understanding our history helps us make better decisions for the future. As part of the next generation of leaders, I’m committed to making sure younger voices have a seat at the table in Palm Coast. I care deeply about transparency, responsible growth, and keeping residents informed and included in the decisions that impact their neighborhoods. My goal is simple: to serve with integrity, strengthen our community, and help Palm Coast continue to be a city we’re all proud to call home.

I want to hear what’s on your mind.
Share your question or concern below, and let’s keep the conversation going in District 4.
Infrastructure & Smart GrowthPalm Coast is growing, but that growth should never come at the expense of our quality of life. I hear the concerns about flooding, clogged swales, and roads and sidewalks that need attention. Real progress starts with taking care of the basics and making sure development doesn’t move faster than the city can handle.I will focus on:Modernizing swale, drainage, and stormwater maintenanceReducing flooding through stronger stormwater systemsPrioritizing repairs and upgrades before new developmentMaking sure developers pay their fair share and follow responsible planningProviding clear schedules so residents know when maintenance is happeningI want Palm Coast to grow smart, in a way that protects our neighborhoods, our property values, and our quality of life.
Fairness, Transparency & Community VoiceResidents deserve a city government that listens, responds, and communicates clearly. Homeowners shouldn’t be carrying the tax burden alone, and everyone should be able to understand their water bill without confusion. I believe trust is built through transparency and real community involvement.I am committed to:Simplifying water and utility bills in plain, clear languageGrowing our commercial tax base responsiblyEnsuring impact fees work the way they’re supposed toOpening up communication so residents know how and why decisions are madeExpanding opportunities for residents to serve on boards and committeesI want Palm Coast to be a place where every resident feels informed, included, and respected.
Supporting Seniors, Veterans & Residents With DisabilitiesI’ve met so many seniors, veterans, and disabled residents who feel overlooked or unsupported. That should never happen in a community like ours. Independence, dignity, and accessibility must be priorities. My priorities include:Expanding transportation options for seniors and disabled residentsImproving accessibility in parks, sidewalks, crosswalks, and public buildingsProviding clear communication for households on fixed incomesSupporting programs that help with mobility, aging in place, and independent livingEvery resident deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued.
Youth & FamiliesYoung people should be able to see a future here, and families should feel confident that Palm Coast is a place where they can thrive. Supporting youth today builds a stronger community tomorrow.I support:Creating internships, apprenticeships, and job pathwaysImproving transportation so youth can get to work, school, and activitiesExpanding mentorship, recreation, and leadership programsBuilding opportunities that help families stay, grow, and succeed in Palm CoastPalm Coast should be a place where families feel welcome and young people feel inspired.
